Mr. Perrie Thompson better known as Pico was born on April 17, 1952 to the late Mack Floyd and the late Rosetta Floyd Thompson. He passed away on January 23, 2026 at Regency Hospital in Florence, South Carolina.

He was raised by his grandparents the late Alvin Floyd and the late Mary Burns Floyd. Perrie attended school at Rosenwald. Uncle Pico was a family man and he didn't meet no strangers because if he could help you he would! Not only was he a jack of trades but Uncle Pico loved to work and took care of his family! From farm work, construction work with Anchor Steam Power Company to Smithfield Field Foods until he retired. But no matter what job he had he always made time for his favorite hobby, his garden which was his pride and joy and he didn't mind sharing with others what he grew! He liked the enjoyment of a good time and hanging out in the garden with his friends. He loved sports, especially basketball.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Mack Floyd and his mother, Rosetta Floyd Thompson, both grandparents, Alvin Floyd and Mary Burns Floyd, Uncles, Bo Floyd, Hubert Floyd, Sang Thompson, Buddy Burns and Clayton Floyd, aunts, Ernestine Thompson and Corinne George, brothers, Eldry "Pappy" Thompson Jr. and Norman Wendell Thompson, sister and his go to in time of need Reta Thompson Powell, brother in law, Harry James "Jimmy" Powell, a special friend be considered to be his brother in law, George Wade McDuffie, cousin or his bonus brother, Alexa "Pee Wee" Thompson, nephews, Tony Ray Powell, Phillip Leonard, Harry James Powell Jr., Rodney "Doc" Thompson, two nieces Tawanta Powell Blue and Renee Jones, cousin, Perry "Brighteyes" Walters, special friends in which he loved like brothers, Anthony "Tony" Pittman, William "Bill" Sweat, Jimmie Locklear, Steven Dent, James Dent and a special friend be loved like sister, Evelyn "Bell" Baldwin and friends, Sarah Pierce and Deborah Carmichael.
