PIQUA -- Perry A. Sprowl, Jr. 75, of Piqua, passed away at 3:16 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born October 21, 1946 in Piqua to the late Perry A. and Edith (Miller) Sprowl, Sr.
Survivors include three children, Perry A. Sprowl, III of Piqua, Darlene Bryant of California, Cherrie Turner of Versailles; two grandchildren, Perry, Jessica; a great grandson, Michael; two brothers, Tim Sprowl, Lenny Sprowl; and four sisters, Joyce Stickle, Edith (Gary) Arnett, Fern (Bob) Koger, and Thersea (Clark) Sheets. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Dosek; and his lifelong partner, Linda Parke.
Mr. Sprowl attended Piqua Central High School. He worked for many years as a certified plumber in Piqua, Covington and Pennsylvania. Perry served proudly in the United States Marine Corps. He was a hard worker and dedicated himself to his job. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed spending his time fishing.
A graveside service to honor his life will begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2022 at Pearl Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Keith A. Gebhart officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the Veterans Elite Tribute Squad. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday at the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home. So very saddened to hear of Perry´s passing. He was highly recommended as a talented all-around home improvement person who I hired several years ago. I was pleased with his work and enjoyed getting to know him. He will be missed.
