Perry Glenn Winchester, born May 10, 1976, went home to his Lord and Savior on October 26, 2025.
Perry lived a life full of laughter, creativity, and love before his passing. He was the devoted husband of Amanda, who was his greatest joy and companion.
Perry proudly served his country in the United States Army, carrying with him the values of honor, loyalty, and courage. Beyond his service, he was known for his quick wit, his humor that could brighten any room, and his natural charm that drew people to him.
A self-proclaimed cinephile, Perry had a deep love for movies. He could quote lines with perfect timing, turning everyday conversations into moments of shared laughter and connection. His admiration for superheroes-especially Superman-reflected his belief in hope, strength, and doing what's right.
Perry also had a passion for baseball, music, and art. Whether cheering for his favorite team, losing himself in a song, or creating something beautiful with his own hands, he expressed himself with the same enthusiasm and creativity that defined his life.
Those who knew Perry will remember him as funny, engaging, and endlessly talented-a man who could make you laugh, inspire you with his artistry, and remind you of the joy in life's simple pleasures. His presence was a gift, and his absence will be deeply felt by Amanda, his family, and all who loved him.
Though his time here was far too short, Perry's spirit lives on in the laughter he sparked, the art he created, and the love he shared.
Perry is proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Lillie Belle Hamm.
He is survived by his loving wife Amanda Winchester, mother Gina Hamm Winchester, father Richard Winchester, his siblings Michael (Lora) Winchester, Robyn Winchester, Michelle Winchester/Oviedo (Sebastian); along with numerous family and friends.
A celebration of Perry's life will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 12: 00pm, at Western Hills Church, located at 7575 Charlotte Pike. Interment will follow at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation with the Winchester family will be on Thursday, November 6th, from 11AM until the service time at 12PM, all at Western Hills Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to Celebrate Recovery (Tithe.ly Giving) or a charity of your choice.
