Mr. Pete was one of a kind. He treated me like family from day one (20 years ago). So many fond memories of him and his family. One of my favorite memories is when they invited us to their home for Thanksgiving. They had the biggest Turkey I have ever seen . One leg was the size of my daughters head. After we all finished eating , the turkey looked like it was barely touched. We had so much fun and absolutely amazing food ! Loved him like a brother He had a big heart. You will be truly missed Mr. Pete. Love you and miss you. Until we meet again Rest In Peace.

We met Pete at the Born Clinic and immediately him and my husband became friends! The love of deer and hunting was a hot topic and Pete offered my husband who courageously battled brain cancer a free hunt at his property which was one of highlights on my husbands heartbreaking journey! For that i am truly thankful ... Pete was such a sweet man and it was a pleasure to know him! He will be missed! Prayers for peace on your hearts until you meet again...

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Pete. I ran into him a couple of months ago at the grocery store and he still knew who I was; he always called me "young lady". Pete could come off as gruff but deep down he really was a teddy bear. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Laura, and the rest of your family.

When I was 15 we visited from Australia. Pete took me out to a harvester that had broken down. We were there for a long time and when we got back to the house, everyone was asleep. Pete realised he didn´t have house keys and so broke one of the small window panels to open the door from the inside. As he went to reach in to open the door, I instinctively turned the handle on the outside and the door opened. We both looked at each other and laughed. `Oops´, he said and just laughed it off. Turns out that Laura had left it unlocked just in case :)
