Peter “Pete” A. Trask, age 69, of Brainerd, passed away at his home on October 15, 2025.
Pete was born on June 28, 1956, in Brainerd, Minnesota, to Maurice and Clara Trask.
He was a proud father to his three children, Emilie (Ryan) Canton and their daughter Nora, Adam Trask, and Haily (Keith) Wahlgren. Pete spent much of his life on the road as a dedicated truck driver, earning a Million Mile Award and Driver of the Year recognition. For the past 39 years, he worked for TCBX, first as a driver and later as a dispatcher, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and good humor.
Pete’s greatest passions in life included riding and tinkering on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, spending time with his beloved Sheltie, “Harley,” and enjoying the quiet life on his ten-acre “swamp.”
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Joyce (Ron) Everett; and his son, Adam Trask.
Pete is survived by his partner, Janet; his daughters, Emilie (Ryan) Canton and their daughter Nora, and Haily (Keith) Wahlgren; his brother, Bob (Ruth) Trask; and many relatives, friends, and coworkers who will miss his laugh, stories, and kind heart.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
