Peter Henry Bergstedt

Peter was born on August 1, 1945 and passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017. Peter was a resident of Chisago City, Minnesota at the time of his passing. He graduated from Esko High School in 1963. Peter attended the University of Minnesota Duluth and graduated from Portland State University with a degree in psychology. He attended the Inter-Lutheran Theological Seminary in Minneapolis and was ordained by the Association Free Lutheran Congregations. Peter served in the United States Army from 1967 to 1969. He was married to Joy. A memorial service with military honors will be on Saturday January 21 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Esko Apostolic Lutheran Church 25 Church Road Esko MN with a visitation at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family preferred. A private interment will be in the Esko Apostolic Lutheran Church Cemetery at a later date.
