Jackie, condolences to you and your family. I have so enjoyed the preceding memorials of Peter. It has been many years since we have spoken, nevertheless you and he remain clear in my good memories of life in Jackson.

I am thankful for having known Peter over many years and will always remember his integrity, helpfulness, faithfulness and joy of life - and, of course, his deep voice and laugh.

Mr. Blake directed the great plays and musicals along with Mrs. Alexander at Parkside in 1964 & 65. He was a mentor with a great sense of humor and cared about the students in his classroom and their extra curriculum activities as well. Thank you and I celebrate a good man's contributions to the many lives he touched.

So saddened to hear of Mr. Blake's passing. I had the privilege of having his help during our musicals at Parkside HS...loved his booming voice and belly laughter...a kind teacher and wonderful human being as a role model to all of us...thank you for everything Mr. Blake...Class of 1974

Mr. Blake made his Debate class something to look forward to with his great sense of humor! Heaven gained a new Angel. Prayers for family, comrades and friends.

Peter was a good friend and didn't hesitate to voice his opinion on any subject. His laughter was contagious and I will miss our discussions. Rest in peace old warrior - you fought the good fight.

Mr. Blake was one of the best teachers I ever had, which includes my years at JCC, MSU, Cooley Law School and at Oxford University in Oxford, England. His rich voice and laugh will forever echo in my mind and heart. Heaven has added a great gentleman.

Mr Blake also taught for a short time at Bendle High school where we went to school.

Many years later saw him at the Jackson Meijer where I worked, asked if he was the same Peter Blake, he laughed, said oh yes for a short time right out of college. nice to see him again. Small world.

I remember Mr. Blake`s booming voice in tenth grade speech class at JHS. He was the only teacher that did not need a microphone when he talked!! My condolences are extended to his family
