Dr. Peter Cianfrani

Some people come into your life and change you forever. That was Dr. C. I still miss him and always will. May you walk with Jesus.

Dr. C. had a great impact on our family..He was my 38 yr old's pediatrician and was responsible for introducing our family to Mercersburg Academy, where his son attended. My youngest daughter, who was a swimmer, went to Mercersburg, where she met her future husband and secured a 100% scholarship to swim for Division 1 University of Connecticut. Dr Cianfrani's simple caring and caring advice sent my daughter and our family on a fantastic life's path. Thank You Dr. Cianfrani.

I too am devastated. To find out today my doctor of 20 years has passed away really hurts. He was a great doctor. I am going to miss him dearly.

Cannot begin to tell you how hurt we were to learn of Dr. C's passing. He has been our doctor since he open his Red Hill Office. We considered him a part of our family. He will be sorely missed! Dick & Gail Brosius

So sorry we missed Memorial. My daughter (Philip's wife) in law had a brother that was buried the same day. Funeral in NJ. I would like to offer our sympathy to family. My Dad (Jack Farrell) was one of Peter's first patients when he made house calls. He was a wonderful Family Practice doctor and very influential in my son becoming a Family Practice Doctor. To the Cianfrani family, friends, and co-workers; words cannot express the depth of my heartfelt sympathy for your loss, for our loss. He was my family's doctor for almost 40 years and we were all shocked and saddened at his passing. He will be greatly missed.
My hopes are that your good memories will always be greater than your pain.

I did not know him on a personal level outside of the office but after receiving care from him for over 20 years I certainly got a good sense of the kind of man he was. A few years back before the Obama care laws went into effect and I unexpectedly lost my health insurance, he told me not to worry that I was "under Cianfrani Care" and only charged me 20 dollars a visit! I remember how his laughter and down to earth personality were always a comfort to me whether I was getting stitched up or just feeling lousy. When I reluctantly had to change doctors a few years back I was shocked at the 280 dollar bill and lackluster care after my first visit to the new practice. I knew then what a mistake I had made leaving his care and always intended on going back some day. He will be sorely missed and my heart felt condolences to his family.

To the families and friends of Peter Cianfrani, please accept my sincere condolences for your great loss. Peter was my doctor for many years. He was a kind and gentle man who took time to listen to my concerns. I will surely miss him, as will all who knew him.

Dear Cianfrani Family: Peter was our doctor for 36 years. He was always caring, loving and a particular support to me, when my husband passed 4 yrs. ago. My daughter, still comes to him even though she moved to Allentown years ago. I remember chastising him, when he fell cleaning the rain gutters. Told him that was my husband's job; his was to care for us.
He will be so sorely missed by his patients; who were really his friends.
May God hold you in the palm of His hand until you are able to stand again. Blessings to all of you.

You were a kind considerate man and doctor. My thoughts and prayers have been with you and your family since I heard. I remember the many conversations we had about our kids our parents etc.. remember the stories about the jobs that your father arranged for you that were the hardest dirtiest jobs around so that you would become educated. One job being working for a diaper service.. I know you were loved respected by thousands. May you rest in the arms of His Angels

Our family is heart broken over the loss Peter. He has been much more than a doctor to all of us and will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with all of his family.

I was so sad to hear about Peter. He was my doctor for 40 years, since 1977. He always a kind and caring Doctor. He helped me through my mouth cancer and stroke. I loved hearing him laugh. To Peter's Family: I was shocked and so saddened by the news of Peter's passing. He was our family doctor for more than 30 years when we lived in the UP community. He loved to talk about his boys and what they were doing and he enjoyed hearing about my children as well. We liked the appointments that afforded us time to talk a little about the arts and cooking and your family trips to Woods Hole, MA. He took such pride in his family and enjoyed the times you were all together. I will especially fondly the recall the personal care he provided my family when my husband died suddenly. He came to the house on a couple of occasions to help me and my children. He was a special person, a very caring physician and a good man. He will be missed by many people.

Thank you for caring for my health, my mother's, my father's, and my husband's over the many years that we've known him. My husband Terry did remodeling work for him & his family when they moved to this area. We've known him for many, many years. May our Lord bless him and take him to Heaven to share in our promised inheritance.

Pete has been our family physician for 39 years. He cared for our three children until they married and left the area. He comforted me nine years ago when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I found him to be an honest, honorable man. My condolences to his wife and boys; he always spoke about them with pride and love. God bless you, Pete, and thank you for years of excellent care.

To Dr. Cianfrani's family -- We are so sorry for your loss. We will miss him greatly. He has been our physician for over 40 years -- since we moved to the Valley. We exchanged recipes, heard of your vacations in the "wild" -- fishing, cooking. And your 4th of July campouts. Always with a smile. A fine doctor and man.

Pete, as we knew him, was my brother's closest friend in high school. My mother said that Pete was the only high school friend that Doug brought home. Our whole family is devastated to learn of Peter's passing. May God bless his soul.

I spoke with Peter for the first time a couple of months ago when he was covering for my son's primary doctor at Pennsburg Family Practice. He called with test results, explained what they all meant and was just so pleasant and so personable. When I told him that I recognized him from the gym to which we both belonged I said I'd introduce myself in person the next time I saw him there.
We were around the same age. I wish I'd gotten to know him better.

I am devastated by this news. Dr. C was my physician and confidant. May a loving God hold you in his hands and help his family heal from this tragedy. I will miss you.
