Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Peter resided in Carteret and was a graduate of Carteret High School where he played and excelled in football. He was anavid sports fan, especially following the Miami Dolphins. Peter enjoyed traveling, where he found a friend in everyone.
Peter was predeceased by his father, Peter Alan D'Agata, Sr.; step mother, Gloria D'Agata along with his aunt, Mary Anne Micaleff. Surviving are his daughter, Lisette D'Agata-Ferreira; step brothers, Michael DeRisi with his wife Helene and Paul DeRisi; nieces and nephews, Michael, Jr. and Nicole DeRisi and Angelina and Dominick DeRisi; aunts, Carol Ann Famighetti, Filomena D'Agata, Teresa Chirico with her husband Sebastian and Carmella Fola. A special thank you to long time friend, Lisa Barber Landicho.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 5pm to 8pm at CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 625 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading, NJ 07064. Cremation will be private.
