Peter Dahlin Obituary
Born May 24, 1942, in Waterbury, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Milton and Carolyn Dahlin. Peter served as President of Thomaston Savings Bank in Connecticut, where he was highly respected for his leadership and dedication. Peter will be remembered for his generosity, his faith and his friendships, including that of his best friend Paul Johnson.
He was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church of Watertown, Connecticut, and a current member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Ninety-Six.
Peter is survived by his wife, Sandra; two daughters, Christine (Linda) of North Carolina and Rebecca (Diane) of California; three sons, Peter Jr. (Jef) of California, Thomas (Alla) of Arkansas, and Jason (Melissa) of Virginia; grandchildren include Colton, Kyla, Angie and Julie; and one brother, Jeff of Wyoming.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Randy.
The family will receive friends at Blyth Funeral Home from 6-7:30 Friday evening.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at St. Paul United Methodist Church. The Family's Pastor, Valerie Mireb and Rev. John Williams, III will be officiating.

Peter was a member of my church in Morris, Ct. He helped my husband and I purchase our first and only home. I will always be greatful to him. A kind, loving and giving man. RIP my friend and condolence to Sandy and her family.

Peter was a wonderful man and so highly thought of in the community. He was a great advisor to me during my time of being a restaurant owner. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this sad time.
