I will miss his hugs.

My most memorable memories of Pete are going with a group of church friends on a cruise to celebrate Pete and Gail´s 50th wedding anniversary. Another memory was after many years of Pete passing me the opportunity to display the flags at our Memorial Day Knights of Columbus family picnic and present readings honoring our past, current.and deceased military as well as our deceased Council members. Also, for many years Pete celebrated the arrival of Santa Claus at our church events. My greatest memory is how the faith and love Pete and Gail shared allowed hospital visits to become like comedy club visits filled with humor and laughter because both believed that they would be united in the future forever.
