You always remember the good wholesome people you meet in your life. Pete was one of those people. Rest in peace and I so enjoy the interface with your son...a super golf pro in his own right.

Will always remember working with him when I taught indoor classes. Matt also thinking of you. Rest in peace Pete.

Matt I just learned about the passing of your father today from one of your left handed members I saw at the course. Please know I am thinking about you and enjoyed your father’s company many years ago. Just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you.

I will always hold Pete Dever in high regard; he took a chance on a young assistant golf professional in June 1974-I worked two seasons for him at Brookside Country Club. Much of the success I have enjoyed is directly attributable to his influence. Pete was visiting his brother (Warner Robins AFB) in 1976- we were playing golf at Ft. Benning the day my wife found out she was pregnant with our first daughter. "Peter J." RIP and thanks for the memories.
