Rest In Peace, Peter Duffecy (March 25, 1945 – February 14, 2026). It is with a heavy heart that Peter’s family shares the news of his passing. He was a wonderful father, a devoted husband, and a friend to all. We could not have asked for more.
Peter was born in Sans Souci, NSW, Australia to James and Joyce Duffecy. He immigrated to the US at age 12. Drafted into the US army during the Vietnam War, he served in the 82nd Airbourne division. Using the GI Bill, Peter graduated from the Illinois Institute of Technology where he met Debbie, his wife of 50 years. He is survived by his son Jason, daughter Jenna, and grandson James.
There will be a celebration of his life on March 28th from 12-3pm at Links and Tees Golf Club in Addison, IL. It was one of his favorite places and we hope you will join us to remember him with love.
