Ever since I got that phone call about your passing I've been trying my hardest to remember the last time I seen you & it's been so long that sadly I can't remember & that alone hurts…but I will always remember the last time I talked to you & that was earlier this year in February on my mom's 50th birthday…your mom came up to me & said someone wants to talk to you ... I got on the phone I said “HELLO” then all I hear in a cheerful voice “WHAT'S UP UCE” automatically I knew it was you...we talked about family, work, life, & your kids even though we talked about 10 minutes our conversation felt like we talked for hours…we said our goodbyes & right before I hanged up the phone you quickly said “AYE UCE DON'T HANG UP HOLD ON” I replied back “WHAT'S UP UCE” you said to me “I JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU I LOVE & MISS YOU USO & I WANTED TO TELL YOU… THANK YOU” I was like “THANK YOU…UMM FOR WHAT PETER” you told me “THANK YOU FOR KEEPING YOUR PROMISE” I said to you “PETER I'LL DO ANYTHING FOR YOU UCE BECAUSE I KNOW YOU WOULD OF DONE THE SAME FOR ME”…couple years ago when Lauren first moved to Las Vegas you called me up & asked me to promise you to watch over Lauren & I stayed loyal to that promise I remember telling you “BUT PETER LAUREN IS A GROWN STRONG INDEPENDENT WOMEN UMM I'M PRETTY SURE SHE CAN HANDLE HER OWN” I'll never forget you saying to me “I KNOW SHE CAN TAKE CARE OF HERSELF BUT SIA THAT'S MY BABY SISTER I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE SHE'S OK & I NEED YOU TO BE THEIR SINCE IM HERE IN WASHINGTON” by the sound of your voice I knew you were tearing up…That moment, That conversation I will always keep in my heart forever. Just thinking about you, Peter; I could remembered your parents coming over when we stayed in Pedro, for family BBQ's/visit with these 2 curly haired twin toddlers –you & Lauren. =)
It made me smile seeing Issac and Ilyanna this past weekend…bro, your son looked just like you when you were little.
Thinking of when all of our families relocated from So Cali to Bremerton, WA because of our Dads' LBNSY job closing down, we used to always talk about how we miss Cali and trying to adjust to WA.
No matter how many days or weeks would go by, although we all wouldn't see each other on a regular, until a family gathering or out & about while on the road or at the grocery stores – we always knew where we stood with one another & always made time to chop it up.
You had a heart of gold and it showed in how you loved your children, family & friends. Your beautiful smile and sense of humor clowning, would light up a room. I wish I would've been w/my Dad that night at the casino because then I would've seen & talked to you for one last time.
I know Bremerton is a pretty small community but it amazes me just how many lives (different ages and ethnicities), you have touched w/your “UCE luv”, in your short time here w/us & Bremerton, WA will never be the same. You were truly a gift from God and served a purpose in our lives. Rest in heavenly peace my dear cousin – Peter “Lil Pete” Fa'amuli! Until we meet again – I love yu, bro!

Peter, I remember coming up to Washington to drop off the kids w/ your parents. You had the biggest smile on your face when you found out at least 1 of your cousin's came out to see where you live. Glad I got the chance to make your bed 1 last time before you laid your head to rest. At wrestling practice I was working out with Peter and putting in a move called the Saturday Night Ride, Peter said, "No Way Coach" and straighten his leg popping my knee and it has never been the same. Even before this, every time the weather changes I think about that day and Peter. It hurt so bad, but I wouldn't let it show, just got up and walked away. Your brother was an extraordinary person. Words cannot express how heartbroken that you are not physically here anymore. All I can do now is await until we meet again. As I go down memory lane of when you and Lauren were brought to Samoa and how I used to get lickings from my mother if I did not keep a close watch on you and Lauren, I have to say those were the best fond memories I have of all of us together. I miss you a lot cuz but I am thankful because in this lifetime, I got the chance to say my last "I love you". In this lifetime, we got the chance to give each other our last hugs.
