Peter "Pete" Fedorko, 70, of Minnesota City, passed away at his home on Saturday, October 7, 2023. He was born on July 4, 1953 to George and Stella (Guilano) Fedorko in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
He graduated from Rochester Junior College with a general education degree. He also graduated from Winona State University with his bachelor's in psychology. Pete was very involved in the community. He was an advocate for people with disabilities and worked with the city of Winona to obtain handicap accessible buildings and sidewalks. Pete was on the committee that installed the handicap accessible fishing piers at Whitewater State Park. He was a member of the Rochester Disabilities Group.
Pete was a very adventurous soul, who traveled often and loved to go on cruises. He was very smart, laid back, but also stubborn.
He will be greatly missed by his partner, Chris Roberton; extended family, Dan (Lindsey) Roberton, Stephanie (Ahmad) Ali; grandchildren, Grayson Roberton, Paxton Roberton, and Amarah Ali; nephew, Guy Kemball-William; his beloved St. Bernard, Molly; and several other extended family members.
Pete is preceded in death by his parents, George and Stella; and his sister, Juliana Kemball-William.
A visitation for Pete will be on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Goodview, MN. A memorial service will begin following the visitation at 6:00 p.m.
A special thank you goes out to Dr. Parker who was there for Pete from the time he graduated from Winona State until retirement. We would also like to thank Dr. Hammel for all her kindness and care over the years.
