Son, husband, father, physician, friend... he excelled in all these categories and will be remembered fondly by all who were privileged to know him.

I was the co-resident with Peter in Neurosurgery at the NY Hosp-Cornell Medical Center in NYC for all those years in Residency.
A brilliant Neurosurgeon, a gentle soul and a true gentleman. We were Romulus and Remus. Blessings. Laurance

I worked as a nurse at LGH with Dr Grillo. 34 yrs later it was still my honor to walk in a room to assist him with his patients, He truly cared and was a terrific advocate . I remember he would pull off monitor leads off their arms and chest and say' 'you don't need these anymore'. I will always think of him as I pull those off a patient, and smile . He always brighten my day, I truly miss him,May you rest in peace my friend !you are missed .

Peter it was such a pleasure to meet you several years ago when my husband was having spine problems and you so graciously read the mri and took time out of your busy day to help me. Also it was always so nice
working with you and your family for all your trips. May God keep you in His arms and may you rest in peace.
