To the Groer Family

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Dr Groer. I was one of Dr Groer's students during his tenure at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, and I very much appreciated his wisdom and support . While it has been over 30 years since I graduated from UTK, I continue to apply Bayesian statistical analysis to problem sets I encounter. I am saddened to hear of his passing.
