Dr. Peter Hamlet was my adviser for graduate school at Pittsburg State University, I also participated in the STAR research program with him. He was the one that encouraged me to register for graduate school after I have some problems on the job as a Medical Technologist. He supervised my research and has been a mentor to me. I lost contact with him when he left Pittsburg. He like students and will go to any length to explain concepts to students. He is always there to help. He is my hero, without him, I would not have completed my graduate studies. I missed you very dearly Dr. Hamlet. I know you are in a good place now. I know your children are proud for all you have done. May God continue to comfort the family.

Condolences to Hamlets everywhere. He´ll be missed by all who ever knew him. I´m especially proud that his cousin Beverly Bildsten (nee Hamlet, and my mother) named me after Peter. What an honor!
