I tried to make you proud of me with Timmy's golf outing this past weekend. I'm sure all of you were looking down at us.How did you like the "longest dive" trophy? Sure got everyone laughing. I couldn't do the golf shoe bit, but there's always next year. Give my kid a hug from me. I miss you both.

I'm sorry I haven't written sooner. The tragedy we all went through in the month of Sept. was more then a family should bear.
Unc, I've been practicing my version of "Pancha Via" and I'm ready for the HMO golf outing in July. I won't let you down. Someone has to keep up the Hester tradition of story telling and with my background I know you would approve. I can't wait till you see it. I know you & Timmy will be there.
I love & miss talking to you Unc,
Tim

Dear Uncle Pete,
Not only where you a teacher in
life but a teacher after your
passing. I always knew how giving
and loving you where. Every
Christmas you made it a point to
remember every single one of my
siblings and our familys. I loved
the first year that Sam was around
and as a joke you gave him that
HUGE jock strap. Not to mention
when I got sick you brought me all
of those great hats.
But after you died, You continued
to teach all of us about humility
and even more about giving. I'm
sorry I didn't get to see you those
last few days. I will miss you
always Unc. I love you. Deede

Coach Hester,
I am sorry that I had not had the
chance to talk to you prior to your
passing. You always said that "HS
football was the best four years of
our lives". I never got the chance
to say to you that it was coaches
like you who made that statement
true.
Thanks for everything, you will be
missed. Class of '84.
