Peter Johnston Obituary
Peter R. Johnston, a long time resident of Dearborn, Michigan, died at the age of 94 on January 24, 2026.
Peter was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Russel M. Johnston and Crystal Foster Johnston. He graduated from Southeastern High School in Detroit, and continued his education at the University of Michigan and Wayne State University Law School. He practiced law in Dearborn, Michigan for over 60 years.
He married Eleanor Jean Lower in 1956. Jean passed away in 2017.
Peter entered ROTC in high school and entered the army after graduation from U of M. He was honorably discharged from the JAGC division of the Army Reserves in 1965.
Peter is survived by his daughters, Pamela A. Johnston (Gary Roesler) and Julia D. Johnston (the late Elbert Taylor).
At Peter's request, there will be no services.
