KOLBASKA – Peter Paul

At University Hospital on Thursday, January 24, 2013, Peter passed away peacefully. Peter was born on April 7, 1935. He was predeceased by his parents Bob and Annie Kolbaska and stepfather Nick Buley. He was the much loved husband of Ann (Bannister) Kolbaska for 44 years. He leaves behind his loving children Petrina (Adam) Bilyea, Kris Kolbaska and Karri (Steve) Kazarian. He loved and was so loved by his granddaughter Emma and step grandson Devin. Peter will be dearly missed by his sister Elsie (Kolbaska) Fesuk. His extended family includes his sisters-in-law Ruby Keith, Shirley DeWolfe and his brother-in-law Lyle (Darlene) Bannister. Ruby and Lyle, all bets are off. Several nieces and nephews will remember their Uncle Peter with a smile. Peter's loyal companion Fergie will miss him dearly. Peter was an active member of the Aberdeen P.S. Retirees monthly coffee club. Special thanks to Dr. Jo-Anne Hammond and her team for their quality, loving care. Friends will be received at Needham Funeral Service, 520 Dundas St., London on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 11a.m. Interment to follow in Woodland Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Peter's honour are appreciated.
