Peter Loomos Obituary
October 24, 1940 - December 20, 2025
Lynnfield - Peter Costas Loomos, age 85, of Lynnfield, died on Saturday, December 20, 2025 from injuries that occurred from a fall. He was husband of Ann (Maravelias) Loomos, with whom he shared 59 years of marriage.
Service Information: Visiting hours for Peter will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 3:00PM-8:00PM in the Solimine Funeral Home 426 Broadway, Lynn. His Funeral Service will be on Tuesday at 10:00AM from the Solimine Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00AM in St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Lynn. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Lynnfield, Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Lynn, or Saint Basil's Academy, 79 Saint Basil's Street, Garrison, New York. Fond memories of my chemistry with Mr. Loomos´ class at Lynn English High School class of 1975. He was very patient and always had a ready smile for anyone needing one. Sending sincere sympathy and condolences to his beloved family.

I am very saddened to read this obituary. Peter. rest in peace. I send condolences to the rest of the Loomos family and I hope all are well. I haven´t seen Peter since I moved to Central New York 15 years ago and I always enjoyed going into the store and having long conversations with him. He was a great man and a perfect gentleman.

I never had him as a teacher but, I knew who he was. I did get the chance to talk with him a few times at the family store. He was a GREAT guy. Certainly will be missed. My sincere condolences to his family.

Mr Loomos was a great guy! I first met him at LEHS and then over the years I would see him at the family market and over the years we would run into each other at stores in West Peabody. We always shared A laugh!!!. My sincere condolences to the family.
