Peter Madsen Obituary

Peter Allen Madsen, 60

Peter Allen Madsen, 60, of PineCreek, Idaho passed away at home on December 26th, 2025. He was born on May 28th, 1965 in Watertown, South Dakota and was the youngest son of Eugene and Sandra Madsen. He grew up in Pinecreek, Idaho attending schools in pinehurst and kellogg. After High School Pete married Kimberly Griner in 1987. They had four children together, but later divorced. He worked at numerous jobs including owning his own marine mechanic shop, but most of his working career was spent in the laborers union. He was a hard worker all of his life. He was best known for his goofy sense of humor and could light up a room with his jokes. He lived for making people laugh. Pete was an avid collector of antiques, especially tools. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was riding his motorcycle, fishing, camping or gathering firewood. He was a proud grandpa to 9 grandchildren. Pete is survived by his children Heather(Noah) Castro of Kingston, Donne(Chrissy) Madsen of pinehurst, Jerad(Katie) Madsen of Hauser Lake, and Jesse(Jas) Chandel of Huntington Beach California, along with his grandchildren, Stacy, Jaxon, Mayliana, Mercedes, Magnolia, Matilyn, Audri, Klair and Gabe. He is also survived by his siblings Bill(Verlene) Madsen, Henry(Jan) Madsen, and Rebecca Nordquist and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Sandra, his father Eugene, brother Bob and brother in law, Jeff Nordquist.
