Peter Mihai

Peter Mihai, age 92, passed away on September 13, 2023. Peter was born September 17, 1930 in Dearborn, MI to Peter and Victoria Mihai. He proudly served in the US Army where he worked for the Department of Defense in many positions. He retired from the Army after nearly 25 years as a Major. Peter was past president of the Military Officers Association of America in both the Canton and Mahoning Valley organizations. He loved America and enjoyed traveling around her as much as possible, however, he did love being at home with his wife and yorkies. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife Beverly Mihai and brother Joe Bedmarczyk. He is survived by his wife Ilona Mihai, children Phillip Mihai, Stephanie Mihai, and Elizabeth (Jim) Wright, and a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Public Viewing will be held Friday, 22nd of September, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. George Romanian Orthodox Church 144 30th St. NW Canton, Ohio 44709 with funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM.
