Jean Moore
December 2, 2023
Dear friends of Peter,
It's taken me weeks to process the fact that Peter is no longer on this planet.
I can clearly hear his voice in my head whenever he would call, saying 'Jean Moore, how the heck ARE you? It's been too long since we caught up!'
Like you, I wish I could speak to him one more time, even just for five minutes in order to express my gratitude and tell him what a special person he is and what knowing him has meant to me. My life changed the day I met him and worked for him all those years.
There are so many adjectives to describe him that it would take a thesaurus to do him justice. Some would be kind, compassionate, generous in word and deeds, funny, sweet....and so many others.
I miss our phone calls, Peter, and your undying kindness and generosity to me over the years. I have so many memories of dinner parties at 625 and meeting your friends. So many memories of you, period.
I miss you terribly, my friend. XXOXOXOOXOX

I will always remember Peter's kindness, humor, and intellect, as well as his vast knowledge of environmental issues which he shared as an aquarium guide, his love of discussing challenging books, and his spontaneous ability to break into a tap dance. He will be missed!

Ahh sweet Peter. I will always remember your sense of fun, silly jingles and great jokes.
Thank you for all if the inspiration and support you showed to me in my craft! So happy to have known you and shared such good times together...
