Peter Atkins Noyes

Peter Atkins Noyes, 70, resident of Bennington, VT peacefully passed away in comfort care on November 8, 2025 surrounded by loved ones at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.

Peter was born on January 6, 1955 in Bennington, VT to the late Walter and Brenda Noyes. After receiving his early education, Peter went on to work at HM Tuttle and for the Bennington County Meals Program. He would marry the love of his life, Marcia Bouchard.

Peter enjoyed music always, especially the Rolling Stones whom he saw many times in concert, he will be waiting for Keith - his favorite band member. He was also a huge fan of World War II history and read everything he could about the events of the great war.

Peter is survived by his wife, Marcia Noyes. Children: Rachel Noyes, Krishna Maples (Elizabeth), Trisha Paradise (Andy), and Julia Humphreys-Nelson (Bernard). His grandchildren: Jack Maples, Audrey Maples, Mila Stevens, Alex Paradise, and Landyn Paradise. A sister, Janice Cropper. As well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and their families.

In addition to his parents, Peter is predeceased by his siblings, Steven Noyes and Carole Noyes-Remington.

Services for Peter will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Peter can be made to the Bennington Renal Dialysis Unit: Patient Fund through the office of Mahar & Son Funeral Home in Bennington, VT.
