Peter "Bicycle Pete" Olbrick

Peter Lynn Olbrick, born March 3rd,1946 passed away December 5th 2025. Peter, affectionately known as "Bicycle Pete" was born in New Britain, CT.
Peter was a well known member of the New Britain community. He was known by his trademarks, his very loved three wheeler and his signature fedora. Peter was a kind hearted man who spent his lifetime gifting and fixing bikes, and ensuring that he helped whoever he could. He was known for his kind heart, volunteer work and his grateful spirit. Peter was a loving father and incredibly proud of his daughters.
Peter is survived by his two daughters and a son in law, Ariel Olbrick of New Britain, CT and Samantha Kennedy (Dana) of Bristol, CT; nine grandchildren, Gabriel Castellini, Oliver Castellini, Alex Castellini and Cain Fernandez of New Britain, CT, Penelope, Seraphina and Amelia, Darrin Kennedy and Dean Kennedy of Bristol, CT. Peter also leaves behind his former wife and mother to his kids, Norma Ortiz of New Britain, CT. Peter is predeceased by his mother and father, Anna and Alfred Olbrick.
Celebration of Life service will be held at the New Britain Public Library, Community Room, 20 High Street, New Britain, CT on December 18th at 5:30p.m.
