Peter Pankow

Peter Pankow age 88, formerly of Warren, died September 24, 2006 at the Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas Nevada. Mr. Pankow was born in Ethelbert Manitoba, Canada November 20, 1917. He is survived by his children daughter Patricia (Stanley) Prisbe of Las Vegas, and his son Gary Pankow of Salt Lake City Utah. Also surviving are two sisters, Rose Chetyrbok, Sophie Phipps of Toronto Canada, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Pankow was predeceased by his wife Carrie. Peter Pankow worked and retired from General Motors Fisher Body Group. He enjoyed a life filled with loving family, and friends. He was an accomplished artist, enjoyed golfing, bowling, and was a dedicated lifelong fan of the Detroit Tigers. Peter and his wife Carrie spent most of their retirement traveling the United States and Mexico. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday 2:00 pm October 28, 2006 at Faith Trinity United Church of Christ, 12221 Martin Road/ Warren, MI (11 Mile between Hoover and Schoenherr Roads). Officiating the services will be Rev. Gene McCornack. Memorial Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 3 pm at the church.
