Peter D. Parrilli

Peter D. Parrilli passed away peacefully on Friday morning, April 11, 2025 with his loving family at his side. He was the married for 32 years to the love of his life, Paula Bittner. Dear brother of Lucy Bruck and the late Danette Jakobczak. Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Rocco and Angeline Parrilli and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Maureen Bittner. Treasured brother-in-law of Scott and Lisa Bittner and Robert and Elisabeth Bittner. Much loved uncle to Declan, Madeline, Nathan, Charlotte, Kaela, Ella, Raymond and Angela and great uncle to Matthew. Fond nephew of John Gilhooly and Susan Lagoa. Dear cousin and friend to many. Visitation is Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Avenue (55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 8:30 AM until time of Service in Celebration of Peter's Life at 10 AM. We will go in procession from the funeral home to Resurrection Cemetery where Peter will be laid to rest. Our hearts are broken by the loss of Peter. He was a remarkable man who knew no boundaries for his friendliness, kindness, loyalty and love for his family and friends. Pete could talk to anyone. He loved to laugh and everyone enjoyed his sarcastic sense of humor. He loved sports and was a huge Cubs fan. His good humor, warm smile and inspiring presence will be greatly missed.
