Peter Quinn

Peter Jeremiah Quinn, age 57, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 23, 2022. Peter was a lifelong Philadelphian. He was the youngest son of the late Edward J. Quinn, Esq. and the late Mary Ann Regina Givnish Quinn. Peter grew up in East Oak Lane where he attended St. Helena's Parochial School, Cardinal Dougherty High School, and St. Joseph's Prep where he graduated class of 83'. He attended St. Joseph's University after which he began a long and successful career in Commercial Real Estate. Peter had an enormous zest for life and was enthusiastic about his family, friends, skiing out west, hiking, cycling the East and West River Drives, and body surfing in Hawaii. Peter was a devout Catholic who practiced his faith by performing many charitable acts. These included donating to St. John's Hospice, and volunteering at St. John the Baptist. He was a Eucharistic minister who often administered to the sick. Every holiday, with a small group of family, he would administer food and warm clothing to the homeless in Philadelphia. Peter was a friend and mentor to family, friends, and business associates. Peter never hesitated to help anyone in any way he could, richly deserving the many stories of how he changed people's lives by his kindness and support. Peter's lionhearted love and generosity of spirit to friends and family can never be replaced. He especially loved his wife Lianne and their two children, Leeann Regina and Peter Gabriel. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden loss but consider themselves lucky to have had his amazing life force of love and commitment in their lives. There will never be another Peter Jeremiah Quinn. The mold has truly been broken. God took him home; the earth shines less brightly and heaven sparkles anew. Peter is survived by his wife, Lianne Quinn (nee Zinni), his children, Leeann Regina and Peter Gabriel Quinn, his siblings, Edward J. Quinn Jr. (Lisa), Thomas J. Quinn (Patricia), Dr. Paul G. Quinn (Babe), Michael P. Quinn Esq. (Maria), Mary Katherine Wright (Joseph Wright Esq.), his, father-in-law, COL Gabriel J. Zinni, USA (Ret), mother-in-law, Linda L. Zinni, sister-in-law Lisa L. Zinni (Christopher Vallozzi), brother-in-law, Gabriel J. Zinni, MAJ, USA (Ret). (Dr. Debra Prince Zinni), his Uncle Gerard Givnish (Loraine) as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to his services on Wednesday evening, April 27th from 7pm to 9pm at Boyd/Horrox/Givnish F.H., 200 West Germantown Pike, E. Norriton, PA. Thursday, April 28th from 10am-10:45am at St. Alphonsus R.C. Church, 33 Conwell Drive, Maple Glen, PA 19002 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM; Interment Holy Sepulche Cemetery.
