Peter Paul Ruzzano, Jr., age 80 of South Weymouth, Massachusetts, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 15, 2022, while surrounded by his family.
Originally from Dorchester, he and his wife moved to South Weymouth where they raised their three children. He graduated from Northeastern University in 1978 and worked at Boston Edison and Nstar first as a Mechanic, and later as a Transportation Supervisor. He was an active member of the Word of God Church in Brockton for over 40 years where he was in charge of video projection. He enjoyed the fellowship of his church family.
Peter enjoyed working on cars and projects around his home, freshwater fishing, attending family gatherings, and tending to his garden.
He was the son of the late Peter Paul Sr. and Anna Ruzzano of Dorchester. He was preceded in death by his younger brother Anthony Ruzzano. He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Giorgi) Ruzzano, his son Peter Ruzzano III, his daughters Lauren Coughlin and Krystin Ruzzano, his two grandchildren Alexander Coughlin and Amanda Coughlin, and his loving sister, Adele Amico and her husband Angelo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held at McDonald Keohane Funeral Home at 809 Main Street, South Weymouth on Saturday, July 23rd from 11 AM to 2 PM. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2 PM to 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memoriam of Peter to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Please use the email [email protected] on the donation form for family notification.
