Uncle Pete always struck me as a man with great intellect and a true sense of pride in his family and his striking accomplishments in his life. He was a very motivational person and I remember him telling relatives to "go out and see the world." He offered great comfort to my mother when his brother Richard passed on, and I thank him for it. I do wish I'd spent more time with him, but he is now receiving our Lord's ultimate reward in heaven. I convey my sincere condolences to Uncle Pete's family. God rest him.

"Uncle Pete" to our family - we will miss you greatly. I'll miss the emails and phone calls.
Dad's friend - hopefully they're playing golf together right now.

Thinking of you ! Thank you for everything you did! He was so special to my family! Another Grandfather to our children, Sara, Nick, and Lucas. A father figure to my husband Scott. And to me a father figure also. Always funny and happy. Helpful, caring and loving. True Packer fan! So very religious! We will miss him terribly.
