Spallina, Peter D.

Chili, New York: Peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at age 70.

Born in Rochester NY, Peter was the beloved son of William J. Spallina and Mary Spallina (Campagna). He grew up in Chili and was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney HS. He received a BS degree from St John Fisher University. Peter went on to build a meaningful career in the field of finance as a credit analyst for Global Crossing. He also worked at Brook-Lea Country Cub as a Bartender. Peter loved people, interacting with them, and making them laugh. He was known for his kindness, humor and generosity.

Peter had a deep love for all sports and physical fitness. He spent countless hours in the gym and enjoying baseball. Peter's favorite baseball team was the NY Yankees. He loved to attend Opening Day for the Rochester Red Wings. Family was very important to Peter. He also cherished spending time with childhood friends, whose friendship he kept long into adulthood.

He is survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joseph Spallina.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 10:30 am , at St Pius X Church, 3010 Chili Avenue in Chili. Inurnment, private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association of Rochester & Finger Lakes Region Chapter, 200 Meridian Centre Boulevard -Suite 110, Rochester, NY 14618 in his memory.

Peter's legacy of love, compassion, and Friendship will live on in all who he knew and loved.
