Peter Thompson Obituary
Navy Veteran of World War II
Preceded in death by parents Norris and Alma Thompson, sister Marion Davnie, and daughter-in-law Darla Thompson.
Survived by loving wife of 57 years, Virgina; sons Jeffry of Harmony, MN and John of Denmark Township, MN, and sister Ann Drinkwalter of San Diego. Proud grandfather of Carolyn, Drew, Eric, Kate, Neil, Patrick, Paul, and Thomas. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Peter loved farming and made a career in real estate in six states. Peter was a charter member of the South Washington County Rotary Club.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 19th at 11:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church located at 920 Holley Ave., St. Paul Park, MN. Visitation will be Thursday, May 18th at Kok Funeral Homes, 1201 Portland Ave., St. Paul Park, MN from 5:00 - 8:00pm and also one hour prior to mass at church. Interment at Cottage Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or Poor Clare Monastery of Bloomington, MN.

I have many happy memories of Peter's effervescent personality...he seized life and enjoyed it so much!

I was lucky enough to take care of Peter in his final days at United Hospital. I was inspired by his family, his wife Virgina and his grandchildren. I hope the family holds dear all the warm memories that Peter gave and I hope I made his last days comfortable on his way to Heaven.
