To Bonnie and the entire Turnamian family,
We are so sorry for your loss. Pete was a special husband, father, grandfather and friend. Pete and Frank developed a friendship that began on the football field at Wagner and on their drives to Trenton State to see Bonnie and Sue. Our friendship continued over the years since graduation and was truly a special one. Pete will be missed by so many. We will remember the twinkle in his eye, his sense of humor, and the teasing of Bonnie and Sue for their times at TSC. Our hearts go out to you, Bonnie, and your family for the love and care that you gave to Pete through his challenging times. May fond memories sustain you through this difficult time.
With all our love and sympathy, Sue and Frank Antonelli

My deepest condolences go to the Turnamian family. I wish each member the strength to deal with this difficult time. Pete was my baseball and basketball coach during my sophomore and junior years at THS. He was a knowledgable and no-nonsense coach who demanded your best. He motivated me to always give my all. And I did! I can vividly recall him telling the team to "put the hay in the barn" or to "carry the mail" when we were running wind sprints to get in shape. Again, please accept my thoughts and prayers during this trying time. Warm regards, Mike Graime

My deepest sympathy to Bonnie and the Turnamian family. I was a young kid in the parks of Teaneck when I first met Peter, he was a counselor and coach; and our relationship began. I remember his beautiful Corvette, and he allowing me clean and polish it, and then go for a ride. When I got to THS, he was my mentor, spent time with me working on my football skills, and then guided me through the process of college recruiting. He taught me how to handle myself as a young man. From there, we remained friends. I am forever grateful to Peter, and will miss him. Paul Marino THS 1970

Condolences to the Turnamian family. Pete was my coach in Teaneck in the early 70s in his capacity as assistant basketball and baseball coach, as well as my driver's ed teacher. Beneath his "old school" surface style of coaching was a good guy with a big heart and a wry sense of humor. Ted Killory
