Peter Paul Vaicels III

It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Peter P. Vaicels III, who left this world peacefully on December 28, 2025. Peter is survived by his beloved daughters, Olivia Rose Vaicels and Kayla Santos; his cherished grandchildren, Isaiah Santos and Natalia Santos; and his former wife, Kristine Carcuffe-Vaicels. He is also survived by his mother, Donna Queli, and her husband, Vinnie Queli; his sister, Donna Vaicels; his nieces, Carly Demi Joaquin and her fiancé, Nicholas Tobias, and Courtney Paige Joaquin; his father, Peter P. Vaicels Jr., and his wife, Diane Vaicels; his uncle Charlie and aunt Cecilia Vaicels; his uncle Anthony Vaicels, and his aunt Veronica Hamilton. Peter will be greatly missed by his beloved cousins, Ed Hamilton, Debbie Hamilton Daugherty, Joey Vaicels, Lauren Vaicels, and Bobby Vaicels.
Peter will be remembered for his love of music, his passion for photography, and his ability to find humor in almost any moment. He had a gift for telling jokes and making others laugh, and his presence could easily fill a room with warmth and joy. He had a heart for helping others and never hesitated to lend a hand or offer support when it was needed most. A devoted New York Mets fan, Peter took great pride in cheering on his team, and he also enjoyed collecting police patches, a hobby that reflected his appreciation and respect for those who serve. Peter never met a stranger - he made friends everywhere he went, always ready with a smile, a story, or a joke. His warmth, humor, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the visitation at the O'Boyle Funeral Home, 309 Broad Street Bloomfield, on Saturday from 1:00pm until 5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter's memory may be made to support his daughter Olivia's education and upcoming graduation from Penn State University this May.
