We knew Peter as part of the neighborhood on Longview St. (M streets ). Many memories of cookouts, card games and telling stories. He was a gem!

I am so saddened to hear of Peter's passing. What a wonderful man he was. I know that he will be greatly missed by all.

My heart goes out to you, Sally, and to your children as you navigate this world without your beloved Peter. I will always remember him as a man of strength and conviction, and I so admired his egalitarian management style and ease in most any situation. We were all blessed to be in his presence, albeit too short of a time.

Peter was an amazing man. I am truly honored to have known him for all these years. I was the recipient of his compassion and genuine concern for me and my family. He gave it all and left nothing on the table, in his professional and personal life. We will miss him.
