Petrit Shullazi

Shullazi – Petrit Shullazi, age 63, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on December 22, 2022, at his residence with his loving family by his side. Petrit was born in Albania on August 30, 1959, to the late Haxhi Shullazi and Sanie Sallaku Shullazi. He was a lifelong resident of Albania and relocated to Jacksonville, Florida to be closer to his son and grandchildren in 2018. Petrit graduated from Kruja Skenderbeu in 1978 and started his career as a Butcher shortly after. In 1986, Petrit married his best friend, Miranda Shimia, and they have enjoyed the past 36 years of happy marriage. Petrit was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather who always put his family and their needs before his own. Petrit was currently working at Mayo Clinic Hospital in their housekeeping department where he has proudly served for two years. Since childhood, Petrit was passionate about soccer. He played soccer throughout the years, enjoyed watching soccer, and even taught his son, Roland, the sport, but more than anything, Petrit was a family man, who loved his family dearly, and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his grandbabies. Petrit was preceded in death by his loving parents.
Petrit is survived by his wife of 36 years, Miranda Shima Shullazi of Jacksonville, FL; sons, Roland (Enkeleda) Shullazi of Albania and Xhulio (Orjada) Shullazi of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Nazmie, Rudina (Naim), Ndricim (Astrita), Jemine (Petrit), and Hyrie (Petrit); brothers, Ferit (Deshira), Mentor (Linda), Flora (Agim); and his sweet grandbabies, Amaris, Enrois, and Ambla.
A Celebration of Petrit's Life will be held on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at 11:00 am at Beaches Memorial Park Chapel. Interment will follow at Beaches Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
