Peyton Patrick Geer Obituary
It is heavy and broken hearts; we announce the passing of our son Peyton Patrick Geer. He passed away on April 5, 2025. He was born July 3, 2005, in Kalispell, MT, to Brian and Chanel Geer.
Peyton was a breath of fresh air and a spark of light in the room with his contagious smile and an unforgettable presence. He lived life fully and fearlessly, embracing each day with his signature humor and adventurous spirit. Whether he was playing practical jokes (like pretending to foam at the month with Alka-Seltzer to scare his grandma), or having his mom go to Juvenile probation so she thought he was in trouble; instead surprised her with birthday flowers and gifts, diving into snow-covered lakes and creeks for a candy bar, or making gourmet ramen noodle creations, Peyton made sure life was never dull. He had a knack for making others laugh and feel alive. Peyton was more than just fun and games. He was brave, selfless, and protective. We'll never forget the moment he jumped into action to get sister and grandparents to safety during a bear encounter in the middle of the night. That was Peyton, always stepping up when it mattered most. He will not be forgotten and will be so dearly missed by everyone. Peyton will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him. We find comfort in knowing his legacy is one of laughter, kindness, and bravery. Though he is no longer with us physically, his memory will continue to inspire us every day to live with the same boldness and joy that he did.
Peyton is preceded in death by his Aunt Kelley Ann Fehrs. He is survived by his parents Brian Patrick and Chanel Ann Geer; Sister Madison KelleyAnn Geer; Grandparents: Patrick and Mary Geer and Kim and Debbi Fehrs; Great Grandparents Bill and Lonna Cady; Aunt Kim and Uncle Adam Sloan; and cousins Mya and Corbin. Peyton has more aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members than we can possibly name or list; with all the Cady, Geer, Noble and Fehrs sides of the families. He was cherished deeply by everyone, and his memory will forever be held close by all who loved him.
A memorial service will be held on May 2, 2025, 2:00 p.m., at the Libby Assembly of God; 105 Collins Ave; Libby, MT. In lieu of flowers please send perennial plants like evergreen trees, shrubs, rose bushes, peonies, bulbs, and etc., that can be planted for his memorial and remembrance. Arrangements are under the care of Schnackenberg Funeral Home of Libby, MT. Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.

I remember Peyton's birthday where Chanel gave him a piece of his cake and he ended up wearing more than what he ate. There was cake everywhere. We had so much fun with him that day.
That little man grew into a wonderful young man that is very missed.
You are all in my prayers.
