Phil Prust Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Rembs Funeral Home and Crematory - Marshfield on Jan. 11, 2025.
Phillip "Flippy" Prust, Age 35, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away unexpectedly at Aspirus on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.
A memorial service for Phil will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, with Pastor Mark Lundgren officiating. Visitation for family and friends will take place from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Phil was born on September 15, 1989, in Marshfield, Wisconsin, to Keith and Eileen (Weinfurter) Prust. After he graduated from Pittsville High School in 2008, Phil became a jack-of-all-trades. He was an avid outdoorsman, he especially loved snowmobiling, four-wheeling and farm work. He especially enjoyed shooting squirrels out of trees with his dad. Spending time family was a huge enjoyment for Phil and brought him great joy. Phil and his brothers were always close and loved sharing stories from their childhood and their everyday life.
Phil is survived by his parents, Keith and Eileen; fiancée, Sandra Grimm, and their two children, EllieMae and Averett, all of Wisconsin Rapids. He is further survived by his brothers, Nicholas (Nancy) Prust of Pittsville and Timothy Prust of Marshfield; and his beloved nieces, Natalie, Lexis, Harper, and Saige Prust, whom he thought the world of. Phil will also be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his cherished farmhand, Chuck Tesnow.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed and Mary Weinfurter, and Robert and Joan Prust; his aunt, Lucy Henseler; his uncle, Joe Weinfurter; and his nephew, Jayden Prust.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Wisconsin Rapids EMS, Wisconsin Rapids PD, the Aspirus Emergency Room staff, and his kind neighbors, Steve and Ashley, for their care and support.
Phil's infectious smile, kind heart, and devotion to his family will be remembered always.
