This is the first I have learned of Phil's passing. I am so sorry to hear this. My husband passed on the 9th of last December so I guess that is why I didn' t know. We used to work together at the Height's market in Concord and I knew him before that. He was a great guy. My condolences to you and yours.

It was always a joy to be around Phil. He and I and others would jump on our bikes and ride out to the fields beyond St. Paul School for games and fun exploring territory well away from our usual environs. He was a great skater who excelled at ice hockey. I remember how he came to the rescue at my and Judy's wedding reception by jumping in his car to fetch more film for the photographer. He was a loyal friend, gracious and always smiling.

I knew Phil while he was married to my Mom, he always treated my family as his own. I have many fond memories of spending time with him in the woods or watching him ride my son around the yard while mowing grass. I knew him as kind and hard working, May His Memory Be As Blessings!

I worked with Phil at the Heights Market back in the 80's. Sure did enjoy working with him. He could be funny or stern, even stern he could be funny. God bless him. My condolences to his family.
