Philip John Bellinato, 92, of Paramus, formerly of Thornhurst, PA and Totowa, NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Born and raised in Little Falls, NJ he settled in Paramus 3 years ago. Before retiring, Phil owned and operated many businesses but will be remembered for the little luncheonette in the back of the Valley Spa in Little Falls. A proud veteran he served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He loved riding roller coasters, body surfing at the NJ shore with his daughters, playing practical jokes, eating lobster, watching Jeopardy, and taking long rides on his motorcycle with his life partner Ruth Perry. His charismatic way would light up the room whenever he entered it. Phil made a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Loving father of Nancy Dunn and her husband Joe, Laura Black, Diane Risoldi and her husband Ryan, and Linda Munsey and her husband Dave. Dear father-in-law of Jim Black. Beloved grandfather of Nicole, Kaitlyn, Kara, Jonathan, Victoria, Michael, Madelaine, and Julianna. Cherished great grandfather of Jayden, Jaci, Emilio, and Soli. Brother of the late Jack Bellinato, Carol Marino, Elizabeth (Betty) Lombardo, and devoted life partner of the late Ruth Perry. Adored uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends on Monday March 6, 2023, from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral Service and interment will be held on Tuesday March 7,2023, 1 pm at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
