Philip R. Butler Sr., beloved husband of Eva Mae Butler (nee Whitaker). Loving father of Patricia Frey, Connie McBurnie, Phyllis (Butch) Alexander, Beverly Strunk, Vicki Beckman, Kenneth (Peggy) Butler, Karen Siebenshuh, Philip R. (Marsha) Butler Jr. and Wesley (Trease) Butler. Caring grandfather of Nicholas (Ginger) Frey, William Frey, Heather (Travis) Ryan, Christy Westendorf, Hollis D. (Melissa) Strunk II, Christina (Jason) Pfaffl, Holly Broadus, Suzanne (George) Palton, Brian (Sarah) Butler, Robert (Paula) Strunk, Ryan (Kelley) Beckman, James Butler, Angela (Eric) Mienko,Chrystalynn Dannemiller, Kyle Butler, Kathryn Siebenshuh, Katelyn Siebenshuh and the late Adam McBurnie and Justin Alexander. Also survived by 34 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Brother of Edith Wigginton, Irma (Charles) Marsh and the late Myrl Butler and Verl Butler. Preceded in death by his parents Donald Burchard Butler and Sara Mildred Butler (nee McCormick). Passed away February 16, 2025, at the age of 91. Visitation will be held Friday, February 21, 2025, at Hodapp Funeral Home 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd. Liberty, Twp., Ohio, 45044 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
