Pre-deceased by beloved wife Joan, son Jeffrey, daughter in law Donna, sister Jen, brother Theodore, mother Mabel, father Theodore.
Father to son Philip Hertling, David & daughter in law Dawn Hertling, daughter Beth Ann & son in law Peter Wersching. Grandfather for Philip, Jaclyn, Michael, Ryan, Daniel & Alexa. Great grandfather to Kit.
Philip worked for most of his career at New York Telephone Company in NYC and raised his family in Long Island, NY. An avid boater & golfer he also enjoyed bowling & bocci with family & friends. His favorite place was anywhere on or near the water. After retiring Phil & Joan relocated to the west coast of Florida for 20+ years. He lived life to the fullest and left a lasting impact on all of us.
May he rest in peace with his Joanie & Jeff
