Philip Martin Kettula, a devoted husband, brother, and friend, passed away on January 12, 2026, at the age of 50. Born on August 16, 1975, in Crystal Falls, Michigan, Philip lived a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure.
A proud resident of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Philip's journey took him from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to the Rocky Mountains. He leaves behind his loving wife of 18 years, Stephanie, and a community of family and friends who cherished him dearly.
Philip's professional life was marked by his dedication and skill as a machinist, working with notable companies like Auburn Tools and Coors, and later serving as a maintenance supervisor at Dietrich Metal Framing in Denver.
When he wasn't working, Philip's passions shone bright. He was an avid PC gamer, a skilled blacksmith, and a lifelong learner with a curiosity that inspired those around him. His kindness and willingness to lend a hand made him a beloved neighbor and friend.
Philip is survived by his loving wife of 18 years Stephanie, family including his sister Christi (Jerry) Swimmer, grandma Ethel, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was a proud uncle of A.J., Elijah, his buddy, and Chelsea. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Dee Kettula, and grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that expressions of love and support be made in the form of donations to your local animal center. Your generosity and kindness will help honor Philip's memory.
