Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium - Hanover StreetPhilip James Nezballa, 80, died September 27, 2025 at The Arbors of Bedford in Bedford, NH. He was born on May 1, 1945 in Lilly, PA, the son of the late Andrew Jan Nezballa and Anna Elizabeth (Rakar) Nezballa.
Philip was the husband of Janice Ellen (Stanisewski) Nezballa. They were married on May 4, 1968 in Lawrence, MA.
Phil left Lilly, PA after high school, moving to Washington, D.C., where he joined C&P Engineering while serving as a member of the National Guard. He left NSA to join the then new startup, Digital Equipment Corporation (Compaq), where he spent the balance of his career as a software engineer.
Phil was a founding and active member of St. Mark the Evangelist Church in Londonderry, NH, including being an usher for many years. He was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed carpentry, mechanics, and tinkering with his antique 1966 Ford Fairlane.
Phil is survived by his wife, Janice (Stanisewski) Nezballa; his children, Kimberly Boyle and her husband Michael, Mark Nezballa, and Allison DeCesere and her husband John; his grandchildren, Ryley Nezballa, Cali Nezballa and her husband, Nate Shott, Becker Nezballa, Levi Nezballa, Ryan Boyle, Nathaniel Boyle, Bryn DeCesere, and Weston DeCesere; his great-granddaughter, Libby Shott; and his sister, Monica (Nezballa) Rollins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother-in-law, James Rollins.
A Memorial Service will be held on October 4th at 10:30 am at St. Mark’s the Evangelist Church, 1 South Road, Londonderry, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend the service followed by a reception at the home of Kimberly Boyle, 9 Woodstone Terrace, Hooksett, NH.
