Philip R. Paulley, Sr., age 64 of Leitchfield, passed away, Friday, October 31, 2025, at his residence.
He was born November 30, 1960, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Oscar and Dorothy Woods Paulley. Philip retired from Louisville Metro Parks and Recreation. He loved being with his grandchildren, he enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting and spending time with his fishing buddies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Oscar Paulley Jr. and Frank Paulley and a son-in-law Daniel Polston.
He is survived by his wife, Fonda Newkirk Paulley; two daughters, Trisha Polston (Darin) and Ellen Paulley (Ron); one son, Phillip R. Paulley, Jr.; four grandchildren, Kendall Polston, Phillip Paulley III "Oscar", Connor Priest and Aggie Paulley; two sisters, Betty Miller (Dave) and Shelia Pollard; two brothers, Eddie Paulley (Yvonne) and Jerry Paulley (Sherry).
A memorial service to honor Philip's life will be held at 5:00 p.m. (CST) on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Clarkson Baptist Church.
Family and friends may visit beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
Rogers Funeral Home is assisting the family.
