Philip Douglas Sovell was born on June 8, 1985, in Marshall, Minnesota. He was the son of Douglas and Brenda (Nord) Sovell. Philip was baptized at the Christ United Presbyterian Church in Marshall and attended school at Marshall Public Schools. He left high school early but he was proud to eventually earn his GED.
Phil found Pam Neumann and fell in love. He loved spending his time with her, his family, and his friends. His other enjoyments in life included fishing and riding his bike.
