Phillip Beck Obituary
June 4, 1943 - December 10, 2025
Phillip Glen Beck, 82, of Fremont, Nebraska, passed away on December 10, 2025, in Fremont.
Phillip was born on June 4, 1943, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Willard Beck and Lucille (Gieselman) Beck. He grew up in Nebraska and graduated from York High School in 1961. He went on to earn his pharmacy degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, a career that became a lifelong vocation.
Phillip served his community as a pharmacist for more than 30 years at the Fremont Hospital. He also worked for Millers pharmacy in Fremont. On February 7, 1964, Phillip married the love of his life, Raydean “Deanie” Olson, in Lincoln. They lived in York, NE and Grand Rapids, MN before settling in Fremont in 1975, where they raised their sons. Phillip enjoyed owning several dachshunds over the years. He was a member of the Pathfinder Cosmopolitan Club. He is survived by his wife, Deanie Beck of Fremont; sons, Chris (Cintia) Beck of Fremont and Scott (Olene) Beck of Hershey, NE; grandchildren, Travis (Rebecca) Beck, Noah Beck, and Vivian Beck; one great-grandchild and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial visitation will be held at Moser Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 19, 2025, with family receiving friends from 5:00–7:00 p.m. Phillip will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy of kindness, service, and devotion to family will live on in those whose lives he touched.

I was sorry to hear about Phil. I enjoyed working with him at the hospital. He had nicknames for me and enjoyed calling me Eastphal. He will be missed.

I'm so sorry about Phil's passing. I met him while working at the hospital. He was so funny. We would always trade jokes. I had never seen him in a bad mood, always had a smile and kind words for anyone he spoke with. Truly a good man. My condolences to the family.

My sincere condolences to Deanie and family. I first met Phil when I worked in the hospital cafeteria as a teenager. Soon after that I married a friend of Deanie´s son and have kept up with their family ever since. God bless all of you. Rhonda and family
