Phillip Lamar Drinkard
August 7, 1954 – November 17, 2025
Phillip Drinkard, 71, of Bossier City, Louisiana, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 17, 2025. Phillip was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a loyal friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His gentle spirit, generous heart, and steadfast love for his family will be cherished forever.
He leaves behind his loving wife of more than 50 years, Brenda; his father, Carol Blanchard; his sons, Shawn Drinkard and wife Sarah, along with their daughters Shannen, Sidney, and Skylar; and his son, Jason Drinkard and wife Melissa, and their daughter Aubrie. Phillip adored his grandchildren and found endless joy in each of them. He is also survived by his brother, Darrell, and his sister, Connie, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss his presence.
Phillip was preceded in death by his mother, Daisy, and his brother, Bobby.
Phillip’s legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering loyalty will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched.
A service to honor and celebrate Phillip’s life will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Boone Funeral Home on Airline Drive.
